Wands allow the transfer of magical energy from the individual who is wielding it through the wand and out into the open. Wands can be a powerful instrument if used properly and can be used in any ceremony, ritual, or spell. Wands represent the element of air and are represented as a male aspect within Wicca. Wands come in many different shapes and sizes as well as being made from a wide variety of materials. The most common form of wand and seemingly preferred by individuals is wands made from wood as wood can abosrb and store energies fairly easily.
