Gargoyle Statuary

Gargoyle Statues are meant to protect any dwelling from evil spirits. Gargoyle statues are widely used all across the world for decorative purposes as well as this belief that they repel negative and evil entities. Many churches, historic dwellings, and cemetaries adorn gargoyles mostly, and even though gargoyle statues can be found just about anywhere, Europe seems to favor them the most. Within Wicca and Neo Paganism, gargoyle statues are primarily used as protection for the home and altar. Many Wiccans and Pagan tend to place gargoyle statues close to their altars to keep negative influences from containaminting their sacred place.
